According to the statement made by the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC), it was reported that President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan and the council officials visited the patients, mothers and expectant mothers who are in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to receive health services due to Mother’s Day.  In his speech during the visits, Ahmet Savaşan stated that mothers, the source of goodness, love, self-sacrifice and compassion, should be given the value they deserve. In the statement, Savaşan said, “Motherhood is undoubtedly the most innocent and beautiful feeling in life. Mothers, until their death, strive for the future of their children with endless self-sacrifice, love and compassion. This is the most sacred of labor.”

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WOMEN REACH THE PLACE THEY DESERVE FOR THE WORLD’S DEVELOPMENT…

Pointing out that mothers are their children’s first friend, first teacher, first confidant, and their most reliable guide in life, Ahmet Savaşan said that mothers have the most sense of ownership and protection. Ahmet Savaşan said, “It is an important duty and responsibility for all of us to show mothers the love and respect they deserve. At the same time, as a woman, taking the place she deserves in society is of great importance for the future and development of the world.”

WOMEN SHOULD HAVE EQUAL PART IN ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND POLITICAL LIFE…

Stating that women, who make up half of the world’s population, must have an equal place in economic, social and political life, Ahmet Savaşan said that, on the one hand, this will contribute to the increase of the level of economic welfare and on the other hand, to the enlightenment of the society. “We are the members of a nation that regards mothers more than everything. We should all respect all mothers, especially our own mothers, and make them our crown, not just one day, but every day and every hour of our lives. We celebrate this special day of all mothers and mother candidates who prefer our country to receive health services, as well as mothers who raise their children with hope in our country and all over the world; I wish you a future full of health, happiness and peace.”

At the end of the statement, it was stated that the patients and mothers and expectant mothers who are in Northern Cyprus to receive health services expressed their great satisfaction because the chairman and officials of the council remembered them and visited them on Mother’s Day.
